A new circle of friends found at Gymboree Play & Music.
Finding Gymboree Play & Music classes has been a wonderful experience! My son is just over 4 months old, and I wish I had known about the class for babies sooner! The teacher and class have helped both me and him. I feel like he is doing so much better because of the content of the class and I would highly recommend Gymboree Play & Music to any new parent. I look forward to each class. I'm thrilled with how it helps me bond with my son and provides new learning experiences and socialization for him. A favorite activity is bubble time. We love our Gymboree Play & Music teacher because she is kind, helpful, and caring. Thanks!
I really like our teacher Terry on Tuesday afternoons!.She is so good with the kids and my daughter loves her. She makes an effort to know every babies name and soon as they come to the class. She is really interactive and makes my daughter smile all the time at Gymboree Play & Music!
Here are some other fun Gymboree Play & Music stories:
We started Gymboree Play & Music at Fremont for our baby girl when she was 8 months old. After her first class of Play and Learn, she took her first baby step and we could not believe the progress from just one session. Our BG is now over three and a half years old and we are still here.
The teachers at this location are all highly qualified and skilled professionals that know what they are doing. They are very understanding of how each child is different, how to get the best out of them and how to always always encourage them.
Over time, I have enrolled my child in multiple classes and tried them all - Play and Learn (Levels 1 through 6), Art, School Skills (Ongoing), Music (Ongoing at Level 3).
We have Teacher Heather right now. She is AMAZING to say the least. Has a lot of energy, teaches so many things (even us adults learn a thing or two every music class), works hard with the games, projects for the kids and is so much FUN. We have had Teacher Monet, Taylor, Shawnda, Tonya, Shannon,Beth and they are all FANTASTIC. My daughter and I enjoy our time here.
It's a very fun learn and play environment. We look forward to coming here week after week and even had her third birthday party at Gymboree Play & Music. They provide a safe and clean environment for the kids. The teachers meticulously separate and clean the used toys and musical instruments after every class. They are very flexible with makeup classes, vacation holds and free trials making it that much more easy on us parents. One of the best places in Fremont for adult and baby/child classes. I have successfully recommended Gymboree Play & Music to many parents already based on my experience at the Fremont location.

Nearly twenty-five years ago on the dot, my mom not only brought me to my first Level 2 class, but also started working for Gymboree Play & Music in Houston.
While I don't quite remember attending class as a baby, the home videos show me walking for the first time with my chubby legs, adoring my teachers, smiling non-stop and having fun at my Gymboree birthday parties.
I do remember my first teenage job at Gymboree as a Birthday Party Assistant on the weekends. I've had the opportunity to work here on-and-off over some summers and have reveled in every minute of it.
There's no place like Gymboree, and I'm assured my life is a bit more magical and bright because I've grown up with it! I can't wait to bring my future kiddos with my mom by my side of course.
As a family, we love Gymboree. We feel it is a beautiful place where we can go and play together, sing songs, learn new things, and meet other families. I feel that Gymboree helped me build my confidence when I was a new mother; I was able to get out of the house with my infant twins and go to a place where I knew there would be other moms going through the same thing and staff members who love kids and were there to support me and my babies. I feel that Gymboree is partly responsible for the parent I have become, and I will always feel glad that I chose to enroll my children in the program.
The Scripps Poway Gymboree is truly a community and I have made close friends as a result of taking my kids there. I have also been fortunate enough to befriend teacher Aubrey. She has taught all of my kids and she is a natural teacher: patient, warm, welcoming, nurturing, and kind. She always makes parents feel welcome and comfortable and she effortlessly remembers all the babies’ names and details about their personalities. It has been wonderful to get to know her and become friends with her.

All four of my boys have gone/are still going to Gymboree Play & Music.
This facility is wonderful! The staff is amazing, the equipment is immaculately clean and my baby begins to do something new every time we go!!
One of my children attends Skill Schools and has learned so much, does so much and expresses himself freely.
This is a wonderful, nurturing place to be and I highly recommend it to anyone who does not go.

I can honestly say that I can't remember a time when Gymboree wasn't a part of my life.
My mother, Deborah Dunn, became a franchise owner when I was only 4 years old. So needless to say Gymboree was big part of my life growing up. When we were little we were my mother's "employees", we would help but labels on the flyers and help around the site with cleaning and set-up. When "working" in the office we would get "coffee" breaks and "paid" by picking things from the treasure chest. We used to "register" our dolls for Gymboree class, I clearly remember sitting in my mother's office in Westfield NJ and discussing with my sister what level our baby dolls were in. There is even video of me using Gymbo the stick puppet to entertain my cousins at a birthday party.
As I got older I took on more responsibilities at Gymboree and I love it. When I was 12 years old, my job was to dress-up as Gymbo for kids birthday parties, even performing for an NFL star. At 13 years old I became a summer assistant, learning the different levels and classes, learning to blow the best bubbles and give out amazing Gymbo stamps!
At 17 I started teaching night classes and running birthday parties. I continued to work with my mother until I was 28 years old, even after I became a full time teacher, working nights and weekends. I was so dedicated to my job, that one time I locked myself out of the center and I broke down the door so I could start my party on time, pure dedication right there. I can honestly say I've done it all at Gymboree, I have taught every level, art (you should've seen my smock), music (I had the best "ba's" ever) , worked the summer camps and the drop off programs, birthday parties, special events and trained new staff.
I loved working at Gymboree and have so many stories to tell. Some of my favorite things include "going on a lion hunt", doing the peppermint twist, the freeze dance and of course bubbles. When I go to the beach I have a Gymboree parachute and have even used bubbles in my classroom.
Maybe one day I will even take over my mother's centers who knows, but my story took a different turn. I decided I want to be an international teacher, the only reason that I would ever stop working at Gymboree, however while living in China I did make sure to stop in and visit the local Gymboree center and it was like I was stepping right into Westfield. In the summer of 2015 I had my daughter Jillian and I was so excited to start taking her to Gymboree, while we were sad that we couldn't go to "Grandma's Gymboree" we would be attending Gymboree in Bundang, South Korea! Yes, that is correct I now take my 10 month old to Gymboree in Korea, I don't know always know what the teachers are saying, but I know the lesson plans and I know the program and we love every minute of it. It so fun to watch her climb up the "rock wall", slide down slides and race to give Gymbo hugs and kisses.
Thanks to Grandma I'm pretty sure we own almost everything Gymboree sells and the shakers and maracas are hands down her favorites! I can't wait to take her to art and music when she is old enough! It is so surreal to me to think that I started with Gymboree when I was little back in NJ with my mother and now I am continuing that on 30 years later with my daughter in Korea!
Gymboree has played a pivotal role in my life, teaching me "how to play", how to be a good employee, how to have fun and of course how to blow bubbles! I don't know where I will be living next but I know for sure I will be taking my daughter to Gymboree there!
My baby girl and I joined Gymboree in mid July. Kennedy wasn't walking yet and she was almost 14 months old. Within 2 weeks of joining she took her first steps and is now running all over the place with such grace and great control. I really feel that the skills that she has gained from our Gymboree class have really helped her reach this important milestone. Thank you Gymboree!

I began to take my daughter at 7 weeks old. It was a great way to get out of the house and meet other new moms with thier babies. The staff was energetic, welcoming and enthusiastic. My daughter is now six months old and we still go as often as we can. I hope that she's able to graduate from level one before I have to return to work! :) I would definitely recommend this program to friends who are new moms.

Parachute Prom Perfection! After hearing about a "baby prom" hosted by Gymboree Manhattan, a friend and I were determined to bring the event to Tampa. Thankfully our local Gymboree jumped on board. Hayley immediately offered to work the event and Garda set out to make it over the top. In her words, "if we are going to do this, we are going to do it right!" Parachute Prom was the talk of the Tampa mommy community- even my daughter's 20-somthing, childless, swim instructor had heard about the event and was telling all the mommies in her class about it. The excitment was high and the expectations were higher. Garda and her team literally rolled out the red carpet and made the event a smashing success! The doors to Parachute Prom opened promptly at 3 pm and the babies were invited to walk (or crawl) down the red carpet and into the event. At the end of the red carpet was a "step and repeat" photo area- complete with a parachute backdrop (of course!), fairy lights, a custom selfie frame, and a photographer on hand to snap photos (a welcome sight for mommies who are used to being behind the camera and rarely get photos of themselves ahving fun with their littles). Those photos- as well as others taken during the event as the photographer also snapped photos out on the gym floor-were then uploaded to a Shutterfly site where we were able to login and access our photos. In addition to the regular Gymboree set ups, there were also a dance floor with bubbles floating all around (thank you Hayley for all those bubbles!) and a craft area with stickers, markers, and felt shapes where the littles could decorate a photo frame to commemorate thier first prom. There were also snacks and bottles of water for the "chaperones" aka parents and Go-go pouches for the kids. While most of the children in attendance were young (7-14 months) there were a few older children there as well and the staff did a wonderful job of keeping everyone entertained and engaged in the event. The older children had a ball out on the dance floor while the youngest of the bunch were content to play with Play Balls, explore the tunnels, take a ride on the slide, or just sit back and watch the fun on the dance floor. Later in the afternoon parents started flooding Facebook with photos form Parachute Prom and the comments said it all. Those who were there were reminiscing about the fun they had and those that couldn't make it were bummed to have missed out. Parachute Prom is still the talk of the town a week later- just today I had a mom ask me when the next one will be! Garda and her team put together an amazing event and the mommies of Tampa thank them for it!!
