A blessing for both mom and child

I quit my job to stay home with my son and I loved it. However, I didn't Play Classes, Baby Exercise, Mommy Exercise, Mommy & Baby Classes, Baby Development, Infant Development, Infant Play, Baby Play Group, Toddler Play Groupknow other moms with infants and I felt we both needed more structure. Also, I was worried because my son did not seem interested or motivated to roll over or sit up. Soon after joining Gymboree Play & Music, he was rolling over, crawling and then he started walking at 101/2 months! My son is a very social person and I know that seeing the other children practicing those skills in addition to gaining strength with the activities in class contributed to his motivation a great deal. Also, I have had an opportunity to meet so many fun and interesting moms. Now we have regular play dates outside of class, such as going to the Children's Museum and Aquarium. I can't imagine life without Gymboree now! Joining provided everything I felt we were lacking: developmental activities, peer socialization, and mommy bonding!
