My son Noah was one-and-a-half years old when I started taking him to Gymboree at Northbrook Court. I continued to take Noah for almost ten months. He loved sitting in the circle, singing the welcome song with the other children and making hand motions along with Charlotte, his favorite Gymboree teacher. Noah would run up and down the bumpy mats screeching with glee, and absolutely adored the parachute and bubbles. The Gymboree play classes encouraged creativity and imaginative play which was ideal for my spirited little Noah. Of course the highlight of each class for Noah was when Gymbo came out and we all burst out into the Gymbo song. He has his own little Gymbo puppet that he still plays with, and he has introduced Gymbo to his new baby brother Elliott. The last time we were at Northbrook Court we walked passed Gymboree and Noah started chanting “Gymbo! Gymbo!” Noah, who is now almost two-and-a-half years old, turned to his little brother Elliott and explained with a very serious expression on his face that this is where Gymbo lives and plays. I am hoping to find out more about family classes at Gymboree so that both boys can share in this wonderful experience.
Class Type: Play & Learn 4 (16-22 months)
