Helping me catch up

My first son and love of my life, Carlitos, was born 8 weeks early. I stopped working to take care of him once he came home from the NICU. He was making good progress but required physical therapy. We enrolled him at Gymboree Play & Music to help him apply what he learned at physical therapy and help him catch up with his peers. We both loved the bright colors and the open space. He loved the opportunity to crawl, climb, walk, and eventually run around the place. I bought him books from which he learned shapes, colors and counting and I also bought music cd's which we enjoy all the time. Carlitos loved his teachers. They are friendly, kept the classes moving at a good pace and know how to end tears and bring smiles with bubbles! The classes were wonderful in their mix of structure and open play and to this day, Carlitos still puts his little hands together and shouts, "Oh baby Gymbo!" and then claps.
We brought Nito into this world, also early and as soon as he's old enough, he will be loving his Gymboree teacher and classes.
