Leaps and Bounds

When Dylan first started Gymboree Play & Music, he couldn't sit up yet. Even though I had to prop him up and hold him, I could still tell he enjoyed the music and songs. All the other kids would go off and crawl up the ramps and through the tunnels, but I took this time to give Dylan "floor time" to help him practice sitting up and crawling. As the weeks went by his development was flourishing, and I could tell he was enjoying Gymboree more and more. He would make our instructor laugh by staring at her intensely while she sang - it was distracting to her (in a good way) how engaged he was with what she was doing. Now he he gets so excited he will crawl into the middle of the parachute to get the best view of the instructor and to take it all in. I love now how Dylan can use the equipment and crawl through the tunnels and up the ramps like how all the "older" kids did back when we first started. I love watching his face during Gymboree - he smiles and laughs - and adores how Gymbo the clown pops out of the cone at the end of class. Soon he will be ready for level 3 and we both can't wait!!

Class Type: Play & Learn 2 (6-10 months)
City: Los Angeles
State: California
