Mason's story

Our first class was when our son was 12 months old. He wasn't walking at that timGymboree Play & Musice, and was showing very little interest in even trying to stand up to take the first steps. He would watch his new friends during the play class, and most of the kids were either walking or cruising. That afternoon our little guy was trying to take his first steps! He was walking by the time it was time to go to class again. He is now 18 months old, and is now attending the music class. He now attends Gymboree twice a week, and he LOVES it. Our son is an only child, and through Gymboree has learned to share toys and to take turns on play equipment. It really shows when we are at the park. He patiently waits his turn to go down the slide, and shares all of his toys. I thank his Gymboree instructors for showing him how to share and how to play with other children. As soon as he started music class, he was a dancing machine. All we have to say is " show us your dance", and his face lights up. He starts dancing right away. It's so cute. The gymboree teachers have a song they sing when it's time to clean up toys, and my 18 month old now picks ups his toys as soon as I announce that it's "clean up time". He has learned so much in the past 6 months; social skills, motor skills, singing and dancing, and he even cleans up his toys. My son screeches every time we pull into the Gymboree parking lot. It's safe to say that we both really enjoy our experiences at Gymboree. He adores his teachers and his playmates.
