It was love at first visit for my baby boy, Micah. There aGymboree Play & Music has been fostering creativity and confidence in children ages 0-5 for over 30 years. Today there are over 550 locations in 30 countries, making us the global leader in early childhood development programs. Designed by experts, our age-appropriate activities help develop the cognitive, physical and social skills of children as they play. Our programs are also recognized for their unique approach to parent involvement—which encourages participation in and understanding of each child’s development.re so many reasons why my boy loves Gymboree Play and Music.

The other parents laugh with me when we see Micah mesmerized by Parachute Time, his mouth open in a big "O" from sheer glee, his arms flapping excitedly. I wasn't expecting this so early but he's also had his first crush here (on his teacher). He stares intently into her face as she encourages him to climb a ramp or go "fishing." "Good job, Micah! You did it, Micah!"

Playing with his cute classmates has helped accelerate Micah's crawling and cruising (he started crawling at seven months). At Open Gym, Micah likes to play with the big boys, and pretends he can do everything they can do. He loves to roam free all over the play mats and landscapes, pausing to eat, I mean, play with, the Gymboree beanbags and balls.

Finally, Micah can't contain himself when Gymbo the Clown ends each class by giving him a loud kiss and song. Micah blinks rapidly and sighs. When we leave Gymboree, Micah tries to jump out of his stroller so that he can stay a while longer. 'Til next time, Gymboree.
