My daughter is a "stairmaster"!

Wednesday, August 10, 2011 by Gymbo Buzz Blog Contest

I first started my daughter in the Play & Learn 2 classes when she was 8 months old. She has a big personality but I have sure seen her "come alive" at Gymboree Play and Music. After our first preview class, we were hooked! She was delighted to be around other babies and to crawl through the tunnels, over the colorful mats and to push the tube. She laughs at the bubbles and is amazed at parachute time. I'm pretty sure she could play peekaboo with Gymbo all day long if I let her. I was just happy to get out of the house and meet other parents! I have truly seen my daughter grow socially, emotionally and physically by attending class. I couldn't believe my eyes when Miss Gentry put a shaker toy on the top of the stairs and my daughter just went right up the steps to get it like she had been doing that all of her life! She turned around and gave me the biggest smile as she began chewing the shaker--we've both never been more proud. Thanks Gymboree!

Class Type: Play & Learn 2 (6-10 months)
City: Riverview
State: Michigan

I really enjoyed reading your testimonial. I will definitely share this story with my dentist who has a 3 year old and a new set of twin baby girls!

I liked your story. I'm definitely going to recommend Gymboree to my friends who also have Grandchildren. They might want to bring them on the days they babysit!

Gymboree has been a source of educational fun for my grandchildren & friends. I hear of so many positive comments after the children have attended. It is especially good for the single child who needs peer interaction.

As a former teacher, I am a great believer in physical exercise for children of all ages! Great way to develop life-long habits of activity for fun! Development of small and large muscle groups is another great benefit, which is so important for small ones when they start reading, writing - anything in school. Go Zoe!
