On The Move

Child Intellectual Development, Child Education Center, Child Early Learning Center, Child Development Skills, Child Activity CenterOur precious little boy, called by his older brother "Baby G," was 10 months old and making very few attempts to move in any form or fashion. As concerned parents we began taking him to physical therapy to get him moving. After only a few sessions our private insurance denied the service and said that it was not medically necessary. While we continued working diligently with him at home, I also enrolled him in Gymboree play classes with the hope that he would be motivated to move during class. While he was timid and shy, at first, by his third class he was crawling like a wild man and soon after began pulling up and cruising! Now, at almost 13 months, he is no longer delayed and getting very close to walking! I am confident that the "peer pressure" and the motivating activities, music, and routines at Gymboree greatly facilitated this developmental process for our son. We couldn't be happier with his development and can't wait to see our Baby G begin to walk soon! Thank you, Gymboree!

Class Type: Play & Learn 3 (10-16 months)

State: Georgia
