My little one has always disliked the grass or slimy raviolis, so when we got to Gymboree for the first time I knew this may not go well. He has trouble touching new things as well as interacting with new people. I thought, well it is one free class...we will endure it for today and we don't have to come back. Boy was I surprised!! Not only did Riley love the equipment, he seemed to be a different boy! The week we were there the balls were out that had nubs on them. Riley hated them and didn't want to touch any of them, in fact he screamed if they came near him. As I continued to take him, he seemed to get used to them and now he has no trouble with that "new" touch! I also see that he will take "new" touches without hesitation and he is also becoming more social. This is all to our weekly adventures to Gymboree! We both love it there, Riley for the new tunnels, toys and friends and me for opening up my little boy to the adventures I knew he was destined to love!
