Taking off

My daughter was a late walker, by the time she was 15 months sGymboree Play & Music of Tampa, FLhe would walk but only while holding your hand. As soon as you let go of her hand she would collapse. My husband and I were trying everything we could think of to get her walking on her own. The doctor even gave us a deadline of 16 months before we would have to put her into physical therapy. So I decided to start Gymboree Play & Learn classes. She was very shy during her first class and mostly clung to my side. She gained confidence quickly and was having fun by the second class. By her third class she let go of my hand and walked across the large mat all by herself. All I could do was watch and smile. She beat the doctors deadline and avoided physical therapy and we couldn't have been happier. She is now 23 months and we continue to go to Gymboree. Each week she is learning something new and surprising us all. Thank you Gymboree!
