Mr. Brenden is amazing! He is great with all the children and remembers their likes & dislikes.
Class Type: Family Classes
I attended my first Family Music Class with my 7 month old, and the lady at the front desk helped me with all my questions I had about Gymboree Play & Music. She was very patient and wonderful! The teacher (Alexis) was very sweet and knowledgeable in the curriculum that was taught. Every activity was greatly paced and engaging for me and my child.
Thanks for the wonderful experience as a first time mom!
Josh was our instructor at the Cedar Park location of Gymboree Play & Music. Both of my boys are autistic and I was very worried they would enjoy the environment of Gymboree.- Thanks to Josh I didn't have to worry. His easy and accepting nature- and his beautiful singing voice entranced and kept us engaged and enjoying our class week after week. Josh is a truly amazing person and we are lucky to have known him and enjoyed our Gymboree classes so very much.

Two and half years we first found Gymboree Play & Learn through my mom, (Meme). She was always shopping at the clothing store and hearing about Play & Music, she strongly pushed us to try it out. We did and we loved it, however it was difficult for my husband and I to take our daughter to Gymboree consitantly with our full time work schedules. At that time Meme asked if she could come down on the days of Music classes and watch her grandaughter, while sharing a special activity together. For the next 6 months on every Friday Emma & Meme went to Music class and had their special day together. Sadly we lost meme very unexpectedly, but knowing how important the time she had with Emma at Gymboree was, as well as how much she enjoyed spending time with all the other children and parents in the class, we made it a priority to continue Emma's classes. Now both Emma & her little sister attend Play & Learn classes regularly and love it. It makes me smile to hear Emma sign the songs she's learned in class at home while she plays, and now even her little sister has started to sing the songs. Gymboree Play & Music is not only a great place for our girls to grow, learn and make new friends, it is also the a way to honor the love their Meme has for them.

Although the children I bring to Gymboree music class do not always sing and dance along, I know that that they are learning. The children apply the skills and ideas taught within the music class into their day to day play and learning at home. A few weeks back during the "Broadway" unit, the children were taught to play a scale while singing Do, Ray, Me. My children went home and played it on their own xylophone and then turned around and began to spell different words using a scale.

My children are 3 years old and 6 months. and they LOVED the family Music classes at Gymboree Play & Music in Wexford. Mr. Tony was very engaging and the children enjoyed being active participants each week. They laugh, smile, dance and play many different instruments and that is just in one class!!! I loved how the themes changed to keep the class exciting and fun!!! The class was very stimulating for both my 6 month old and his big sister. Thanks Mr. Tony for an amazing adventure every class!

What do Mariah Carey, Cher, Donna Summer, Dianna Ross, Aretha Franklin & Faith Hill have in common? They’re all part of Music Lessons for children at Gymbore Play and Music! How could these iconic Divas possibly belong in Music classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, you ask? Think about it. As a parent, you may have been surprised & delighted to hear your little one mimic the “hook” found in popular music playing on the car stereo or laughed hysterically at your child’s spontaneous dance moves to music emanating from your Mp3 player. Good news parents! Even pop songs explored in an early childhood music program are good for kids because pop songs contain short, simple and memorable rhythm and melody patterns that are just right for building a young child’s memory. And those patterns are repeated over and over again making them more memorable, predictable and more accessible to your child. Gymboree Music I, II and II classes are filled with a variety of global and popular music styles for your child to enjoy and learn from. So the next time your child wiggles or shouts out “Rah, Rah, ah, ah, ah” to Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”, you can smile and rest assured her brain is working hard identifying patterns, sequences, musical phrases and melody!
