A Gymboree Legacy

I took my 1st child, Stacey, to Gymboree 26 years ago when it was located at OLPH in Ardsley. Marianne. who began the program, was the teacher. Later, Melissa took over. My next children, Marcy and then Matt, were both Gymboree kids practically from birth. During the time Matthew was enrolled, the program moved to its current location in Scarsdale. My son couldn't get enough. Matt left Gymboree to continue onto competitive gymnastics, where he twice became a NYS Gymnastics Champion. My children continue to have deeply fond thoughts of Gymboree. So, when my son had a son, it was inevitable that we sign him up for classes. Gavin, who is 9 months old, loves the play classes as much as his dad and his two aunts loved too. I hope that my grandson will develop many of the same great memories as my children. From the look on his face when he enters the gym floor, I would say that it is already happening.

Class Type: Play & Learn 2 (6-10 months)

I took my first child to Gymboree when she was 3 months old and we lived in California. I took my next two children also....and I worked there, too! After a 10 year hiatus, I am working once again for Gymboree Play and Music...this time in Colorado. And that 3 month old baby? She is all grown up and working there, too! Talk about a LEGACY! What better legacy is there than bonding with your child and instilling in them the value of encouraging that in other families?
