My daughter, Molly, has been attending and loving Gymboree Play & Learn classes since she was 1 year old. Her teacher, Ms. Rebecca, has become close to family for us. Molly fit in well with the Gymboree environment and truly flourished in learning and exploring as well as social play. When Molly started "real" preschool this year, she had a tough time. Her teachers did not seem to truly understand Molly or her wants, needs, and motivations. Every day was a battle for her. Finally, we decided to pull Molly from the school, for her best interests. At that time, Ashley, owner of our Gymboree Play & Music who has since become a good friend, told me about Gymboree's School Skills drop off class. She encouraged me to try it with Molly after hearing about our struggles with school this past year. The first day at our very first drop off class was naturally, a difficult one for Molly and myself. But with the help of the loving Gymboree team, we made it through. Ashley even called me to tell me how Molly was doing and to give me some comfort in our struggle. Since then, Molly has grown to LOVE Art & Sports and School Skills. She looks forward to each class and even asks if it's a Gymboree Day! And I truly appreciate the sweet notes from the Gymboree team to tell us everything the children accomplished that day. It's very hard to find that kind of openness, inclusion, and care in a children's setting. I've never been so happy to bring her to Gymboree, see her turn and wave "Bye Mommy!" as she happily runs along to class with her friends. I encourage everyone I know with small children to give Gymboree Play & Music a try. With Gymboree, Molly has found a place to love and be loved.
