I have been taking my son to Gymboree play classes for about 7 months. We have a blast every time! I have never been to a class or had an instructor that I was dissatisfied with. Gymboree recognizes their customers with personal greetings, a warm welcome, and a pleasant "see you next time." The facility is always clean and the kinds of people that come to play, learn, and grow are super. I can say that as we have more children, I look forward to a future with Gymboree as part of my life and I love being a Gymboree Mom.

Classes at Gymboree Play & Music provide the added benefit of a peer group for learning social skills in a musical environment. Musical games like “Ring Around the Rosey”, “Row Your Boat” and “Farmer in the Dell” connect children to each other. These singing games impose simple and playful “rules” such as working in a group, taking turns, and following or acting as the leader and naturally challenge a young child’s emerging social skills. Playing rhythm sticks, bells or maracas in a group setting gives children a sense of themselves as individuals and a sense of belonging to a group, which in turn builds confidence and self-esteem.
Music itself has the power to convey emotional meaning and connect people to one another. Children who participate in early childhood music classes have a unique opportunity to grow socially and emotionally through the intimate connections they make as part of shared music experiences with parents, caregivers and peers.
