Missing Gymbo

Thursday, March 1, 2012 by Gymboree Play & Music Family and Friends

I knew my son loved his Play & Learn 5 Gymboree Play & Music class from day Stretch the imagination through creative play to support symbolic thinking, language development and social interaction. This class is suitable for toddlers. one because of the giant smile on his face through the entire class. We came into try a free class, and since my son is so shy, we thought it was important to try new things where he could interact with other kids his age. I was the last of my friends to have children, so all of their kids are older. I did not intend on signing up for anything that day, but that beeming smile and, albeit, small but some interaction with other kids, I thought how could we not come back. However, I just did not realize how much he loved it until he missed his first class. We had taken a music class earlier in the week to substitute the day we would be out of town, but on Thursday morning at 10:30, he led my parents out to their car, climbed up in his seat, buckled himself in and was ready to go. Of course, they couldn't figure out why he wanted to get in the car, since he had never done this before, so they decided to start it up & drive around, because he showed no interest in getting out. As soon as the music came on in the car my son started to dance like never before with that giant smile on his face! I later put it all together that he was wanting to go to class! Thank-you for helping bring my "baby" out of his shell! It is worth every penny! Thank-you Miss Jessica!!!

Class Type: Play & Learn 5 (22-28 months)
City: Melbourne
State: Florida
