My daughter is now 2 years old and has been attending Gym
boree Play and Music since she was 8 months old. We would be lost if it was not for Gymboree!
I was struggling with her when she was very small, I didn't have a lot of close mommy friends, and she had not many other children to socialize with. I was sort of depressed too at the time, and the situation we were in felt even more isolating. Upon starting Gymboree, our world just opened up. She began to excel at her motor skills, and became a much more happy, less cranky baby. I also started to have other moms to talk to, which did a world of good. Plus the teachers are so caring and engaging, not only for the children, but for the parents as well. Now, almost a year and a half later, we have quite a social network going on, just of Gymboree moms and kids alone. We have gone to each others birthday parties, have had many playdates at each others homes and at parks, and pools, amusement parks etc. The moms are all on more than a first name basis with each other and we are all friends. The kids have known each other since they were so small, and now they are all best friends. My daughter holds hands and hugs her little girlfriends from Gymboree! It has been amazing watching them grow with each other. Typing this now, I realize that I should have shared this long ago.
I would like to give a distinct mention to the teachers at the Hillsborough, NJ Gymboree...specifically Lisa and Michele. They are truly special ladies, smart, engaging and warm and the children and moms (and dads and grandparents too) just love them!
Thanks for everything.Class Type:
