Grateful for Gymboree Classes!

Tuesday, July 5, 2016 by Gymboree Play & Music Family and Friends

My now 3 year old daughter has been attending Music, Art and School Skills programs at the Bellevue Square Gymboree Play & Music over the last year. She has also attended the the Play & Learn and Sport classes. She absolutely loves teacher Megan in her Music class, whose positive energy, bright smile and warm teaching style has not only helped her learn about rhythm and beat, but has had a huge impact on her confidence levels.

Teacher Megan, Danny, Jeannie and Erin have also had a huge impact in her learning in the School skills program, that have made her Preschool ready. They have made her feel comfortable and secure; created a perfect environment for learning, which made the transition to being in this class without me, absolutely seamless.

Jaanvi loves going to all of her classes at Gymboree, and I would very highly recommend both the Music and the School skills programs to anyone.

We are very grateful to all her teachers at Gymboree! Thank you!

Gymboree Reunion

Saturday, June 8, 2013 by Gymboree Play & Music Family and Friends

Sports Classes, Sports Classes For Kids, 3 Year Old Classes, Classes For Kids, Summer Classes For Kids, Play Groups Millersville, Sports Classes MillersvilleMy son started Gymboree Play & Music around 10 months old. He LOVED it. He made a wonderful group of friends who he traveled through the levels with and I made a wonderful group of Mommy friends :) He went off to pre-school this year, but we were both so excited that Gymboree would be offering the Sports Class this Summer! It is like a Gymboree Reunion! All of his friends, who had gone different ways this past year as they are getting old, came together and joined the class. They had their first class yesterday, and they all had such a good time. And all of the parents could tell that the teachers, Miss Amy and Miss Molly were having just as much fun :) After class my son told me "Mommy that was the best time ever."

A Little Fun Goes A Long Way

Wednesday, April 3, 2013 by Gymboree Play & Music Family and Friends

From hosting two college students in our home to my husband workinSports Classes, Active Play, Sports Classes for Kids, Preschool Prep, Preschool Alternative, Activities for Kids, Activities for Childreng overtime, our family life has been a little crazy lately, and my 3-year-old son Jayden had been feeling it perhaps more than anyone. The lack of attention had him acting out more than his usual good-natured self. I decided to enroll him and his sister in Gymboree sports classes to get them out of the house and help prepare him for kindergarten, and it has been so helpful as a positive outlet. He is currently in Sports II. Even though it's a drop-off class, I often watch through the lobby window because I think it is as entertaining for me as it is for him. Most of the time he is cracking up as he plays with the other kids his age, and he just seems so in his element. It carries through to home life too, as it gives him a place to learn, shine, and use his energy in a positive way!

Our son has participated in Play & LeaSports Classes, Sports Classes For Kids, Play Classes, Kids Classes, Early Learning Classes, Gym For Kidsrn classes, Sports classes, and Play Gym, and has LOVED everything. He's participated in other organizations' programs, and hasn't liked anything as much as Gymboree. Great balance of structure and free play. Teachers have also been very good at getting and keeping him involved, and he loves the equipment. We couldn't be happier.

Clearwater Gymboree

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 by Gymboree Play & Music Family and Friends

We have been taking our son to the Clearwater Gymboree for over four years. He recently started VPK and we elected to discontinue the School Skills class but continued Arts and Sports. Our son LOVES Ms. Marina and while he still had her for art he really missed her and the School Skills class. Today was our first day back to School Skills and his beloved Ms. Marina. She is amazing with the children! What a valuable teacher she is to the Clearwater Gymboree location!!

US Marine Homecoming Surprise

Monday, July 23, 2012 by Gymbo Buzz Blog Contest

Gymboree Play & MusicMy husband was serving in Afghanistan with the Marine Corps from July 2011 until February 2012. I came across Gymboree, by chance, and enrolled my 3 year old in the Sports classes and Art classes and my 1 year old in the Play & Learn classes. They loved it and would get SO excited to go. It was the only place where they could escape the hardships of their father being deployed and just be kids. When it came time for my husband to come home, we HAD to encorporate Gymboree in the surprise homecoming for my daughter. We went to a class designed for the age group my son was in and dressed her in a beautiful new dress, did her hair and make up. Everyone sat around the parachute and when Toni Ann, the manager, 'forgot the words' to a song, she asked my daughter to stand up and help her. On her cue, my husband walked in. The look on her face was priceless, and there wasn't a dry tear in anyones eye.

Summer Favorite

Monday, July 16, 2012 by Gymbo Buzz Blog Contest

Gymboree Summer, Family Classes, I am so lucky to get to spend two months home with my kiddos every year. One of the perks of being an educator :) I have a five and a two year old. They each began going to Gymboree Play & Music when they were only six months old. They have participated in the different Play & Learn classes, Sports classes, Art classes and Open Gym. It would be difficult to choose just one event that would explain how much my kiddos love going to Gymboree ... They've met many new friends and even learned how to share. Well, most of the time anyway :) Our summer would not be the same without our Gymboree time.

my first time

Friday, July 13, 2012 by Gymbo Buzz Blog Contest

The first time we went me and my two daughters loved it. My oldest couldn't wait to jump into all the activites and my youngest worked on her motor skills and loved just crawling around and playing with the other kids. My oldest came home with beautiful art work and loved all the sports activites.

Sports Class

Friday, April 13, 2012 by Gymboree Play & Music Family and Friends

My daughter has been taking Play & Learn classes since she was 8 months old. And just when I thought she was getting bored at age 2 1/2 we discovered a new class, Sports! This class not only teaches you how to play sports (golf, basketball, throwing, catching, running, etc) it teaches you how to take turns and wait for your classmates. We take this class at the Woodbury Gymboree Play & Music, and although we love Ms. Sheila and Mr. Brendan separately, the combination of their teaching skills is spectacular! The best part for me is that it is a drop off class. Sometimes mommy and baby need a break from each other and I always know she's in the care of good hands at Gymboree!

She loves her teacher Wendy and we are in class with friends we met when she was only 18 months old. We love Gymboree Play & Music. My older daughter still talks about it and wishes she could still go!

Sports Classes

Thursday, February 9, 2012 by Gymboree Play & Music Family and Friends

This was my second time with Teacher Christian. She's great and warm with the kids, and did I mentioned extremely extremely patient. Love that these  Sports classes were introduced. I didn't want to go somewhere. And Elden love the Gymboree Play & Music experience. I really prefer continuity for my son.
