Love my Job!

I have been teaching at Gymboree Play and Music in Greenwood, Indiana for about 3 years now and it is amazing to see the children who came to Gymboree when they were only a few months old to now having them in my 3-5 year old classes. Seeing the changes in the children from sitting up, to crawling, walking, running and saying my name is amazing to me. I feel like a huge part in their life and I am excited to hear and see all the changes that happen in their life.

Today I said goodbye to a 13 month old who started Gymboree just to have something to do at age 6 months when his parents were only in Indiana for a short time for business. I was able to see him sit on his own, start crawling and he took his first couple of steps. Yes, it was only for a short time but in that short time I was able to get close to not only him but his parents as well.

Gymboree has changed my life in the best way possible. I am not a parent yet, but when the time comes I will know what to do with my child to help them grow. I am also able to be a kid for a little longer and I come to work and smile and laugh every day. Who else can say that about there job? Seeing the children's face light up when I start singing makes my day.

My favorite class to teach would have to be music classes. I love the different genres we go through and how we are able to show children what music around the world sounds like. I could teach music all day every day and love to share music with anyone and everyone who walks through the door at Gymboree Play and Music.

Class Type: Music
