I have been taking my daughter to the Reno Gymboree Play & Music since she could sit up and she's almost a year old now. It's absolutely fabulous and I have nothing but good things to say.
The toddler classes at Gymboree Play & Music are varied and perfectly age-appropriate. The instructor who does all of the classes except the music class is amazing, I don't know where she gets her energy! She clearly loves what she does and it translates into the children having a wonderful time and learning as they go.
I look forward to the preschool type activities when my daughter gets older as these seem great also.
The plans and payment schedules are flexible so you can come as often or as little as you like, it works for everyone.
I also appreciate their attention to hygiene and cleanliness, as any mother knows, groups of small children can breed all sorts of interesting infections!
We love our local Gymboree Play & Music in Reno and will continue to go for years to come.

My daughter loves Gymboree and her teacher!

We joined Gymboree Play & Music when our son was really little. He loved the classes and we loved all the ways he was learning while having fun. Through the years we learned that he had some sensory struggles as well as some anxieties about large groups. This was one place that was full of people and full of noise as well as physical challenges that he just LOVED!
Gymboree Play & Music has come to feel like a family. After we had our daughter, we were so excited to let her grow up with the Gymbo family. The owner and teacher at the Reno, Gymboree Play & Music for the Play & Learn class is one of the most amazing and passionate teachers we have had the pleasure of knowing, and it shines through in every class.
Both of our kiddos love everything to do with Gymboree Play & Music. We are often singing our favorite Gymboree Play & Music songs in the car and at home, and we love the Bubble Ooodles too!

We went to a birthday party and the Gymboree Play & Music staffer was Heather, at the Fremont Hub location earlier this year.
I wanted to write this review because Heather was so great with a big group of toddlers. And, for a special effort when my son lost his party favor balloon in the parking lot. Heather welcomed us back into the store despite it being pretty late and I think she needed to get home, and she not only gave my son a new balloon but also offered him hugs and a minute to sit down and collect himself before leaving again. It was so nice and made his night (and mine :).
That kind of extra effort is not so easy to find these days and I congratulate Gymboree for having such caring staff at your Fremont Hub location.
Thank you! Julie and William :)

Gymboree Play & Music has helped my son to develop in many ways, but walking was our biggest concern. He had just turned 16 months, when we started at Gymboree, and only wanted to crawl. Now he was able to see other toddlers his age who were walking. Each week, he sees familiar faces and has started to respond enthusiastically to other parents and kids in his group. He is getting stronger, and the rest of his day is happier after we leave Gymboree play classes. This has been a very positive experience for him, and we are happy we joined!

We took our 14 month old daughter Kiley to her friend's 1st birthday party at the Gymboree Play & Music in Greenwood. It was Kiley's first visit to a Gymboree, and she loved it! The teacher Casie was fun, energetic, and friendly. All of the kids responded to her well, and she ran the party with a great pace - mixing directed baby activities with periods of free play in between. There was an excellent variety of equipment and activities to suit the wide age range of party guests. The toddlers in the group were free to run about and join in the group activities as they pleased, which was a relief to us as Kiley was excited and eager to touch and try everything in the center. The parachute play was fun for the kids and adults, the amazingly long lasting bubbles were a huge hit, and the cake & ice cream supplied by Gymboree were delicious!

I started taking my daughter to Gymboree Play & Music when she was 19 months. Her first class was Art I. She learn many things there especially to sing and paint. She loves to color. After having her enroll in Art I for 2 months I decided It will be good if she tried Play & Learn. Currently she is enroll in Play & Learn Level 5. The instructor (Hannah) is great. My daughter loved the group activities and her favorite one is bubble time. I bought her the bubbles from Gymboree and we use it at home. She also loves the Gymbo song recently we bought her a Gymbo and she wants to take him everywhere. She likes all the activities and I think Gymboree is a good program for babies and toddlers.Class Type:

Thank you to the amazing program of Gymboree Play & Music and its teachers, our son Annan has completely matured and grown into an active, confident, outgoing and social toddler. Before attending classes, Annan was very shy, often timid when brought before a group of kids or adults. At home, he was very outgoing and cheerful yet when we take him out, the same problem occurred. My wife and I often worried about his behaviors and questioned about our ways of raising him. My wife suggested we take him to Gymboree and it has been one of the best investment we made in our son's future. In the classes, it teaches him how to interactive, think, play, share, sing, dance, jump, and all the wonderful things that toddlers are supposed to do. We are so happy, Annan is interacting with such joy and enthusiasm compared to his first few classes. He now participate in all activities and oftentimes he is the first one to befriend other kids. We couldn't be more happy with the progress of our child's development and recommend the program to many of our friends. Once again thank you Gymboree!

Shortly after my son, Jack, turned 1, my husband and I knew Jack was ready for Gymboree. He's been walking around the house getting into everything, paying close attention to the TV when children songs come on, and always want to be active around the house. Our house was completely childproof and we can see the boredom in his eyes. All he had was a playpen with LOTS of toys, but he wasn't into his toys at all. We know we have to do something and started looking into Gymboree.
We have heard good things about Gymboree but we were still skeptical about signing up for the class, because what could they possibly do for babies at such a young age? What will the class teach? What types of kids are going to be there, and are they going to be well behave? Instead of wondering, we have finally decided to make the best decision; looked up the class schedules and dropped in for the free 1 day trial.
I can still remember the very first day of class like it just happened yesterday. My son was mesmerized the moment we walked into the room. He did not blink once because he didn't want to miss a thing! I'm not sure if it was the colorful room, or the colorful gym and play mats that was going to be all for him to play on. Whatever it was, we were SOLD!! Then, to make things even more fascinating. Our instructor, Katy, was so playful, kind, and absolutely knows how to get the toddlers' attention. We can feel the passionate in her for her job as a Gymboree instructor.
What's also great about Gymboree Play & Music, was the toddlers that were there with Jack and the activities they do together. They are all around the same age group, they pretty much do the same thing - wobbling around - and I think they understand one another. They all play along together wonderfully and the giggles and chuckles just lighten my day. Jack is so cheesy every time he sees Gymbo and the kids at the beginning of the class when they do warm-ups with Gymbo. Then Katy would set up obstacles for the kids to attempt. Just about every 5 minutes or so, they would have different activities like: climbing onto the bridge to get to the slide, sliding down the slides, bouncing on air tubes, going through tunnels, and so much more. After the kids get their warm-ups and have good bonding time with kids while conquering their obstacles, they would join Gymbo and play and sing together. And oh my, they have the cutest songs ever! Totally created by Gymboree and Jack just loves it. Then the parachute would comes out and that's when the bubbles are flying everywhere! I can't describe the bubbles but they are different than the bubbles you get at the stores. The bubbles seems to be more solidified, which would give Jack a chance to actually pop them.
Another thing I liked about the class is: not only the children get to have a great time, but the parents' also. My husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and I all had a great time. It was so good, that we completely forgot to capture any "Kodak moment" because we were ENJOYING the moment. Overall, we rate Gymboree with 2 thumbs up!
Now that we had signed up, we don't see ourselves quitting the enrollment EVER (unlike our gym membership). We can't wait for Jack to advance to the next level and learn to conquer more obstacles, to continue to meet new friends, and to continue to have a great time.
You can't put a price on a baby, class time at Gymboree, priceless.

Ava Rose loves to attend her Gymboree Play & Learn clas
ses because she is able to socialize and meet other babies/toddlers in her age group. Ava Rose's favorite activity in her play class is playing hide and seek in the colorful tubes in the play area. Ava Rose has grown so much since joining the group that we noticed her development sky rocket in her motor, hand and eye coordination and social skills.
Ava Rose took her first steps in her Play & Learn 2
class at 8 Months! We felt that she took those first few steps so early because of the influence of the other kids in her class. Ava Rose's cutest moment to-date in her Gymboree class is hands down when she dances to the music. She loves to dance when her teacher puts on upbeat songs and encourages the kids to sing and dance along. We LOVE Gymboree Classes!Class Type:

I just came back from teaching the second week of Gymboree's Music classes. Our lesson plan this week is Totally 80's! As a Program Developer, Trainer and Teacher, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing the progress the little ones make in such a short amount of time. One of this week's favorite toddler activities was an 80's song titled "Da Da Da" by the group Trio. Everyone had so much fun chanting and exploring the song's crazy beginnin, "Uh huh, Uh huh, Uh huh Uh huh Uh hu"--What you do and and what you don't, what you will and what you won't, what you can and what you cant!" etc. It never ceases to amaze me how fascinated young children are with the sound of a simple pure tone melody played on the chimes. In this case it was notes f, f, and e--the melody pattern in "da da' da'. It's just right for children because it's just two notes, sung on a very familiar syllable, one that is often one of their first words--"da da"! The beauty of today's music activities for children was seeing how many little ones had actually started singing the pattern after exploring it last week! Not only did they sing it, but they sang it right on pitch to the surprise and amazement of their parents! What a joy it was to hear so many young children using their singing voices for the first time! Such moments really help us understand how musical development is like language development. Children understand much more than they can actually say-- or sing as is the case with songs. It's so exciting to see little ones progress from knowing a song to being able to produce small fragments of it at a time. The other rewarding part of teaching today's lesson was having parents tell me how much fun they had! They seemed to love going back to the 80's and reliving music that was popular when they were kids. So don't ' be surprised if you walk into your local Gymboree Play and Music center and see teachers and customers dressed in leg warmers, neon T-shirts, big hair and spiked bangs for Totally 80's week! It's all about how Gymboree Music makes musical learning active, playful and fun! Next stop on tour musical Journey after Totally 80's is --Broadway!

My mom was the one that first got my son and I into Gymboree Play & Music. Our initial membership was a Christmas present. But after the first class, which was led by a Mrs. Dorothy, I knew that I had done something great for my toddler. He LOVES coming to Gymboree play classes and LOVES everything that goes on during his toddler activities
. His favorite is bubble time and I love the way our Mrs. Dorothy teaches and interacts with all the kids. I could not ask for a better first teacher for my son. Another thing that is a blessing is open gym time
. I love being able to come in during errands and let my son run, jump and play with all the things around. He gets a much needed play time and I get the joy of watching my son smile from ear to ear. Not to mention move into naptime easily when we leave :)
But the biggest thing to come out of Gymboree thus far has been my son learning to share! He shares! Gymboree toddler play group
has allowed him to interact with children his own age, and see that it's good to share. He has taken what he learned in play classes and applied it to our home. I'm so thankful that Gymboree came into our lives! Thank you Mrs. Dorothy and the wonderful staff at our Gymboree Play & Music of San Dimas!

We love Gymboree Play & Music
!!! Juliana has been going since she was 4 months. She's 2 and a half now, and she's in Play & Learn 6
- the last level! Time goes by so quickly. Teacher Liz and Teacher Heather are awesome!!!!!! They are like family. I'm a new mom and their knowledge and expertise was nice to have at each developmental stage. Juliana met all of her milestones when she was a baby, and she was always ahead intellectually and emotionally. I think Gymboree play classes is one of the reasons for that. She's so outgoing and smart. Thank you, Teacher Liz and Teacher Heather! We will be so sad when Gymboree child play group is over.

Teacher Mykie is amazing - I'm not sure we would come to
Gymboree play classes if we didn't have her as a teacher. I have a background in child development as well as dance education and have been an arts/dance educator for over 12 years - so I bring my professional experience along whenever making a decision about which activities are worth while for my baby and which aren't valuable beyond social interaction with other children. Teacher Mykie gets all of the parents singing along with her - she engages the children - and she creates a safe space for parents to discus things as a group as well as feel comfortable to do so in small groups while the children are exploring. I don't feel like we are coming to a class where parents are judging each other or heatedly debating what is best when making parenting decisions; and for that I am grateful to her as a facilitator and leader. She is just the right amount of calm quiet and excited exuberance. Bravo Mykie!

I have taken my daughter to the Veteran's Plaza Gymboree Play & Learn classes
for about 6 months. She started in Play & Learn 4 class and moved to Play & Learn 5. I want to tell you that Miss Marissa is an exceptional teacher for these little ones. She is always up-beat, organized and very helpful to the tots and the parents! My daughter (now 23 months) loves the activity routine and especially Gymbo's kisses, the airlog freeze (Level 4), the maracas (Level 5) and let's not forget individual bubble time! The Millersville location is immaculate. It has also been nice talking with parents of other little ones of the same age group. We love our toddler play group

. She kicks her legs in excitement over all of the songs we sing and props we use during each class. I enjoy watching her explore different textures and sounds.
