The Event of The Summer: Saturday, August 19th!

Back in 2016, we were looking for a way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We created an event, held at all of our North American locations on the same day, and called it “National Day of Play”. Thousands of families across the United States and Canada visited, and experienced the magic of Gymboree Play & Music first-hand.

We had to suspend our festivities for a few years due to the pandemic, but were able to bring it back last year. And now, for the sixth time, we are excited to host families of little ones as we open our doors to the community and celebrate childhood on Saturday, August 19th!

You and your little ones (ages birth to five) can:

  • Embark on.a playscape adventure
  • Hop a parachute flight
  • Swim in a sea of bubbles
  • Invite your friends, or make new ones!

Gymboree Play & Music National Day Of Play: Our premiere event is returning!

In 2016, while planning our 40th Anniversary celebration, we created “National Day of Play” – an event where all the Gymboree Play & Music locations in the US and Canada opened their doors to the community for a day of fun activities.  It was such a success, that it became an annual event.

The COVID pandemic forced us to pause our celebration for two summers but, finally, we can bring it back this month!

On Saturday, August 13th, US and Canadian locations will once again be opening their doors in a celebration of childhood.  Families from across North America will enjoy exploring our playscapes, playing with friends (and making new ones!) and swim in a sea of bubbles during our signature Parachute Time featuring our world-famous Bubble Ooodles.

National Day of Play Fun at the Gymboree Play & Music of Encino CA!

A great deal of fun was had at the National Day of Play celebration at the Gymboree Play & Music of Encino CA.

National Day of Play was celebrated on June 23rd, 2018 at Gymboree Play & Music locations across North America.

The parachute is always a big hit at Gymboree Play & Music!

@beechnutfoodsa and @wellements and gave out tasty samples at the Encino location!

And there were goody bags with @garnierusa Whole Blends samples, @bitsysbrainfood samples and @happyfamily coupons.

They even had FREE carousel rides in celebration of National Day of Play!!!
