Houston Gymboree Play & Music Franchise Owner Is Helping Hurricane Harvey Victims By Matching Product Sales

Hurricane Harvey devastated the Houston are with strong storms and heavy flooding and many area families are still struggling to get on their feet including many of our Gymboree Play & Music staff and customers.

In response to this need Devina Bhojwani (who owns 4 Houston area Gymboree Play & Music locations) has decided to give back. Devina’s own home has had extensive damage and she wants to help other families displaced by the storm.

I am overwhelmed hearing about the devastation to so many families and homes so my team and I have set a goal of $5,000 in merchandise sales and we will match these sales at 100% and donate to the JJ Watt Houston Relief Fund. – Devina Bhojwani

Gymboree Play & Music is opening their doors in Houston for FREE play for all children affected by Hurricane Harvey

Gymboree Play & Music of Houston is inviting all families and children from the Houston community this Labor Day weekend to come play, de-stress and unwind from all the devastation and chaos created by Hurricane Harvey. It has been proven time and time again that play is a hardwired, daily need for children, and that play is one of the best ways for kids to cope in a crisis.

With local Houston schools closed, playgrounds flooded, and so many families displaced from their homes, Gymboree Play & Music of Houston wants to do our part to help our community’s children have a safe place to play — and to give moms and dads a moment of sanity as well.

Devina Bhojwani, the owner of multiple Gymboree Play & Music play centers in the Houston area, has had extensive damage to her own home and yet still comes in to open her business’s doors to the community. She and her team are working throughout the long Labor Day weekend, unpaid, in order to offer Open Gym play groups totally FREE of charge for Houston families.

We are doing everything we can to keep our doors open and our play space safe and free for Houston families,” says Bhojwani. “It’s so important for parents and kids to have a small moment of normalcy and happiness through play during these difficult times.

You can view more information and find Open Gym times on the Gymboree Play & Music Houston Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/gymboreehouston/
