In this week’s episode of the Parent Pod Podcast, we are speaking to Parent Coach Jennifer Szeghi.
Jennifer Szeghi is a mother, a parent coach/coordinator, and the founder of Successful Parenting. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2002, she started two positions to gain more experience with children and adolescents who have behavioral and emotional problems. As a residential manager at Hamilton County Juvenile Court-Hillcrest Detention Center, she was responsible for twelve juvenile male offenders.
By 2005, she started a position at Child Focus as an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist for children and adolescents, with adjustment disorder, anxiety disorders, behavior disorders, and mood disorders.
In 2016, she completed the training: Basic Mediation, Domestic Abuse Issues, Specialized Family/Divorce Mediation, Parent Coordinator, and Advanced Parent Coordinator from the Ohio Supreme Court. These training sessions have allowed her to add the service of parent coordinating services to co-parents who struggle with continued conflict.
She holds a Graduate Certificate in Children and Adolescent Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
