Colton is 20 months old and has been attending Gymboree Play & Music for the past 6 months. He loves airlog time and the parachute the most. When he started Gymboree Play & Music he could not walk or talk, he has accomplished so much in his short time being here!

In addition to being Colton’s Mom, I teach yoga and pilates. I love seeing the kids play together and the relationships they establish over the months. It is so interesting to see their little personalities come out during class!

My name is Lauren and I have a 2-year old daughter, McKinley, who was a 32-week preemie. We live outside of DC in Loudoun County, Virginia. We have been attending our local Gymboree Play & Music in Ashburn for almost a year now. McKinley loved Level 4 Play and Learn, developing confidence and some wonderful gross motor skills. My name is Miriam, I have an 11 month old daughter named Zuri. We haven’t been going to Gymboree Play & Music for long but we’ve been loving it so far! The progress she has made physically and socially in just a few short weeks has been amazing! I can’t wait to see what she learns next.

Victoria Brown 8months old loves to explore through the awesome playground at Gymboree Play & Music. Having both parents in the military means some days Victoria goes to Gymboree Play & Music with dad and others with mom, but we try our best to go to class all together.

Hi! My name is Janine and I have daughter who will be one year old soon. Her name is Olivia, she goes by Oli.

I’m a full time mom, but I’m planning to go back to school for nursing soon. I used to work 2 full time jobs before having Olivia, so when I gave birth to her it was hard for me to just stay at home with no help at all. I learned everything myself and I’m so proud for that. I almost suffered post partum depression, but I had a courage to fight through it. 

Motherhood is knowing joy, even while experiencing the hardest trials of life. I have learned to rise to any occasion and found myself lifted to new heights while stretching myself beyond any and all limits I once put upon myself. With rarely a dull moment, I’ve experienced more adventure in mothering my daughter that ever imaginable.

Motherhood gives me an excuse to stay young forever, kicking off my shoes and letting down my hair while enjoying love beyond measure. I love the fact that when my daughter grows up to be a lady I will have been beside her every step of the way teaching, helping, molding and loving her. Life is great, but life is even better once you have been blessed to become a mom! Motherhood is: my life, my joy, my passion, my greatest achievement.
